Australia's Olympic basketball men's squad will play two games against an American College All-Stars side in July as they fine tune their preparations for the Rio Games.

With the Boomers set to select their 12-man squad for the Olympics on July 11, the July 12 and July 14 matches against the USA Pac-12 College All-Stars at Melbourne's Hisense Arena will likely include NBA stars Andrew Bogut, Matthew Dellavedova, Patty Mills, Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes.

"This is one of the strongest men's teams Australia has ever seen going into an Olympic Games and the team has high aspirations heading into Rio," said Basketball Australia chief executive Anthony Moore.
